Perpetua Calliope C. Ngo
Ms. Ngo is a Senior Associate of the Firm. She has extensive experience in Corporate M&A, Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Intellectual Property, TMT and Data Privacy.
Ms. Ngo’s gained expertise in public offerings, both for equity and debt. She handled several bond offerings, advising the country’s largest banking on recent big-ticket issuances. She is likewise experienced in banking and finance, advising on omnibus loan agreements and note issuances.
Ms. Ngo also assisted in the successful tender offer and delisting of a publicly listed company. She also handled complex transactions, including acquisitions of publicly listed companies in the shipping and logistics, banking, and telecommunications industry, among others.
She also regularly assists publicly-listed companies in their corporate governance requirements and their compliance with the PSE and SEC such as disclosure and reporting requirements, among others.
As part of the Intellectual Property Department of the Firm, Ms. Ngo continues to advise the prominent industry associations on Philippine banking industry-wide used trademarks. She also advises clients for the continued protection of their trademarks. She likewise advises clients on informational technology and data privacy related matters, including drafting of data privacy policies, guidance on registration with the National Privacy Commission, and license agreements.
Ms. Ngo’s previous experience as in-house counsel for a well-known fashion retail company with over 100 stores nationwide supplements her firm experience in handling corporate and commercial, intellectual property, and data privacy matters.
